Three Men in a Boat - Jerome K. Jerome

At last, a comic story that made me laugh in places. This was a fun little book! The comic adventures were amusing, and I really liked the way the author kind of hides some lovely lyrical writing in among them. The storytelling conceit of starting off with a silly moment in the present and then peeling off to tell a separate tale was well done. All in all this was enjoyable, and I happen to have the sequel, so let's see if I can't manage to read that one this month too. Recommended.
