Yet another book about which I have mixed feelings. I really liked the main stories and how they came together, and yet the book feels like it could have been half the size and still told the same stories. Not to mention that the titular character is not even in the book that much. The original title of this book, Notre Dame de Paris, makes more sense - I'm not sure why it was changed in the English-language version, since the cathedral is really a character in the novel.
This just isn't my reading year.
