Book Blogger Hop

Book Blogger Hop

Another fun question, although this one is almost embarrassing!

“How many books are currently in your To-Be-Read (TBR) Pile?”

My response: WAY too many! I still have 8 out of 12 books to read for the TBR Pile Challenge alone. I must have at least 3 dozen books that are on my TBR book shelves... and that is not counting the separate piles of TBR books I set aside specifically for the end of the Hogwarts Challenge this month. Or the galleys I have now that I discovered NetGalley.com (thanks again Victoria! :) ). Or the library books I had on hold that unexpectedly arrived a few days ago - so much for not going to the library in June. So let's just say...

At least 100!

Whew! Time to go read some more....

How many TBR books do you have?

  1. I'm a little bit jealous that so many people have huge TBR piles. But then I remember how much I have to do for university at the moment and suddenly my small, but managable pile looks a lot better. :D

  3. Everyone seems to have like this MASSIVE pile of books to read lol. I don't, I have a tiny one in comparison. But that's ok! :)

  4. Since I found this world of blogging/reviewing by tbr list has more than tripled and it is evident whereas my hubby had to go out and buy a brand new 5 shelf bookcase to hold just my tbr books, and that was before I purchased my 2 EReaders. I just can't say no to a book.

  5. New follower here. Let's hear it for humongous TBR piles! LOL. After I posted mine, I realized that I had missed an entire shelf. Oops! Hope you have a great weekend.

  6. That's really not so bad though. Hopping around book blog reviews has really been a hazard to my tbr pile for sure. I know I'll never get to them all, but oh well. :-P

Thanks for stopping by friday blogs hops as well!

  7. I firmly believe that there is no such thing as having too many books to read. All that matters is that you read and enjoy what you read.
    Thanks for stopping by.
    Happy blogging.

  8. I think that having a TBR pile is not bad in itself, however prioritizing within that pile is a challenge!

  18. I have way too many books on my TBR list and TBR pile. All told that comes to about sixty books.

Now here's the scary math: I read roughly one book per week - and sometimes two. But two to three books are being added to my TBR list every week.

    Stressful, right?

    Wrong!

Hop on over to my blog - http://www.howardsherman.net and find out why.

  19. Isn't Netgalley is great, isn't it? I requested way too many - everything looks so good. I have to stay away from there for awhile until I catch up on my reviews.

  21. I just cleaned up all my TBR piles. It was getting crazy... The apartment looks kind of scary and empty from where I'm sitting because all the books are double and triple stacked on the shelves behind me. I feel like I'm so behind in all my TBR piles. :) Especially when the library books turn up unexpectedly soon. Then sometimes I can't find the time and I'm too embarrassed to go back on the waiting list, so I end up just buying them.
